Itinerary:
Day 1: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Ziz Valley
We will meet you at your hotel or the airport in Fes to begin your 3-day desert trip. Ifrane, sometimes referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” will be our first destination. We will stop briefly there to soak in its loveliness. We’ll continue on to Azrou, where you’ll have time to explore and take pictures. Azrou is known for its cedar trees and entertaining monkeys. We will travel through beautiful scenery, cross the breathtaking Ziz Valley, and make a few quick stops along the route. Following our journey via Erfoud, we will reach Merzouga, where you will be greeted with the customary Berber hospitality, take in a night of dancing and music, and relax beneath the desert sky.
Day 2: Around Merzouga
You will get the opportunity to really explore Merzouga’s breathtaking surroundings on the second day. After breakfast, we’ll start by visiting a local nomad family to discover more about their unique traditions and way of life. After that, we’ll go to Khamlia, a small town famous for its lively Gnawa music, where you can take in a live performance and become fully immersed in the culture. After that, we’ll tour Erg Chebbi’s amazing dunes, . After a camel ride on the golden dunes, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking desert sunset. At a typical Berber tent, you will spend your night.
Day 3:Driving back to Fez
On the last day, we will leave Merzouga and return to Fes, traveling through the Middle Atlas’ picturesque scenery. Before continuing to Fes, we will continue our journey through Erfoud, a town well-known for its fossils and its proximity to the desert , And We’ll make a stop at the Ziz Valley along the way to take in the beautiful palm groves and stunning panoramic views. The amazing desert excursion will come to an end when we reach Fes in the evening and drop you off at your hotel or airport.
