Itinerary:

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges

Your journey starts early in the morning as we go to Skoura Oasis, where we’ll visit the kasbahs and luscious palm groves via an off-road route. After reaching Kelaat M’Gouna hamlet, we follow a picturesque path through the Rose Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. You will have a great supper when you get to Dades Gorges about midday, and then you may take a leisurely stroll around the stunning Boumalne Dades Valley. We go to Todra Gorges in the afternoon, where you will stay overnight at a nearby hotel, have supper dinner and relax .

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Draa Valley – Zagora – M’Hamid El Ghizlane

Following an early breakfast, we travel through Tazarine and the Berber settlement of N’Kob on our way to Zagora. We then go through the Draa Valley, pausing to admire the magnificent landscapes and photograph the mesmerizing landscape. We’ll have lunch in Zagora before moving on to M’Hamid El Ghizlane. We’ll stop at Tamgroute along the trip to see its historic Quranic library, traditional ceramics studios, and enigmatic underground tunnels. We reach M’Hamid El Ghizlane in the afternoon, where you will set up your camp in the desert. Before supper and spending the night in a nomadic tent beneath the stars, relax and take in the peaceful scenery.

Day 3: M’Hamid El ghizlane – Erg Chegaga Dunes

Get up early to enjoy breakfast and a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. Take a camel ride to the Lebour dunes to start the day, and then have a lunch among the tamarisk trees for shade. Following lunch, we transition to 4×4 vehicles and travel to the expansive Erg Chegaga dunes, a breathtaking region of golden sands spanning 40 kilometers with 300-meter-tall dunes. Just in time to see a breathtaking desert sunset, arrive at your opulent tent tucked away amid the tall dunes. After that, have dinner by the campfire while listening to upbeat music played by the local nomads.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Ouarzazate

Before breakfast at camp, early risers may take in the dawn over the dunes. We then embarked on a 90-kilometer off-road adventure through a variety of environments, including as mountain ranges, rocky plateaus, and the arid Lake Iriqui. After stopping to look for fossils, we’ll continue on to Foum Zguid for lunch. We next go to Taznakht, a village well-known for its traditional handcrafted carpets, where you are welcome to tour a local cooperative. We will make a detour at the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before to arriving in Ouarzazate. It will be time to bid you farewell when we return to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon and drop you off at your hotel.
