Itinerary:

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt (265 km)

After breakfast, we will leave Fes by driving towards Ifrane, a beautiful mountainous village, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. Then continue to Azrou Cedar forest, where we will see the monkeys in the area. Our journey continues towards Midelt passing by the Middle Atlas mountains with its beautiful nature views. At our arrival in Midelt, we will check-in for our hotel rooms. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (240 km)

After breakfast, we will drive to the desert of Merzouga via the chain of the Middle Atlas mountains to arrive at the Valley of Ziz. Before we cross the Valley, we will stop in a panoramic spot to see the beautiful Palm grove of Tafilalet, then drive to Erfoud. While we are in Erfoud, we might take chance to visit one of the fossil workshops includes lunch in the same city. We then continue to Merzouga dunes where we will check-in for our hotel rooms opposite to the sand dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga (desert journey)

Today we can explore the desert area. Visit the Gnawa people village, originally from Sudan. We will discover their music and lifestyle, then visit the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations. we can also visit the home of nomadic thread where many Berber handicrafts. After a while, we will drive to have a Berber Pizza for lunch in a local restaurant, then drive back to our hotel to get ready for our camel trekking experience to the top of Sand dunes. After our sunset camel trekking, we will camel trek staight to our desert camp for the overnight under the tents.

Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we will drive back to Fes via the Middle Atlas mountains. Our journey will include few stops at some places including a stop in Ifrane. Upon arrival at Fes, we will drive to your accommodation where our tour comes to the end.
